500 rounds of long gun ammunition (if shotgun, 400 buckshot and 100 slug)
Sling
Handgun and 3 magazines
200 rounds of handgun ammunition
Holster and magazine pouches
Pen and notebook
Hat or other head covering
Gloves (Optional)
Knee and elbow pads (Optional)
Eye and ear protection
Sunscreen or raingear (as applicable)
Adequate personal water supply
**It is recommended that you bring any other applicable gear you will have with you on duty (rapid deployment bags, SWAT loadout, etc).

Officer Rescue Tactics - Michigan MCOLES

Students of the Officer Rescue Tactics course will successfully demonstrate marksmanship fundamentals, combat stress management, pre-incident planning and TTP development, mental preparation, techniques options when faced with a downed officer, movement, use of cover, fighting from unusual positions, an introduction to team tactics, gear selection, introduction to tactical combat casualty care, and on-going self training tools.
