Scott Rounds

Scott has worked in law enforcement for nearly 24 years. Since beginning his career he has worked in a Sheriff’s Department setting and currently works for a municipal law enforcement agency in Northern California. During his career he has been assigned as a patrol officer, field training officer, bicycle patrol officer, and a member of a multi-agency regional SWAT Team. He is currently assigned to investigations as a detective where he has approximately 11 years of experience investigating major crimes including homicide, human trafficking, and both adult and juvenile sex crimes. He holds two certificates from the Robert Presley Institute of Criminal Investigation, one in Homicide Investigations and the other in Human Trafficking Investigations. He is also currently a member of the departments Active Shooter Instructor Team, and Recruitment Team. He is also one of the departments Terrorism Liaison Officers, Background Investigators, Child Forensic Interviewers and TCCC Instructor.  Scott also served in the United States Marine Corps Reserve for approximately 11 years where he attended, the School of Infantry, Basic Reconnaissance Course, Army Airborne School, French Commando Course, US Navy Dive School, LAR-V Transition Course, MC-5 HAHO Transition Course, S.E.R.E. School (Survival Evasion Resistance Escape), Anti-Terrorism Awareness Course and High Risk Personnel Course. Scott Deployed to Iraq in 2003 and 2005 as a member of 1st Force Reconnaissance
Company and 2nd Force Reconnaissance Company.
