Red Dot Pistol Instructor

The Red Dot Pistol Instructor Course is a 24 hour (3 Day) Idaho POST certified instructor course designed to provide law enforcement officers the knowledge, skill and ability to provide instruction in the proper use and employment of a duty handgun equipped with a red dot sight (RDS) in the performance of their duties.  Further this course will cover policy considerations, program development and implementation, selection, installation, care and maintenance of the sight, RDS course of fire development, instructor development and teach backs.
PREREQUISITES:  This class is restricted to law enforcement
EQUIPMENT LIST:
Red Dot Sight (RDS) equipped handgun
Holster that accepts an RDS Pistol
Duty Belt with duty pouches 
3 magazines
1000 rounds handgun ammunition minimum (1500 rounds is ideal)
Soft body armor (as required by range facility)

Student Registration Information

*If there are no seats remaining, you can be added to the waitlist by emailing registrations@lmsdefense.com with the name, date, and location of the course.

A deposit of 50% of the course fee is required to reserve your seat in the class, normally collected within a week after registration. The remaining balance will subsequently be collected 5-7 days before the class.

Student initiated cancelations at least 14 days prior to class date are refundable MINUS a $25 per day processing fee.
Student cancelations less than 14 days prior to class are NON REFUNDABLE.

Students should expect classes to run rain or shine, though LMS reserves the right to cancel due to extreme weather (cold, snow).
LMS initiated cancelations will receive a full refund.

Refunds may be applied as credits at the student's discretion. Credits remain valid for 2 years.
